Staying Overnight

Students participating in freshmen Orientation will be required to stay the night on campus even if they are not living on campus in the fall. Overnight stay will take place in Rhodes-Garrett-Hamiel (RGH) residence hall, on the evening of the first day of the program. All students will share a room with another student participating in Orientation. If you are not able to spend the night due to personal reasons please call our office.

Overnight stays include flat sheet, fitted sheet, blanket, pillow, wash cloth, and towel for every room and every bed.

Students have found the following to be useful to bring to Orientation:

  • Comfortable shoes and clothes
  • Toiletries
  • Casual active gear for evening activities

Guest Accommodations

An overnight stay with students in the residence hall is not permitted. Families and guests are encouraged to stay in area hotels that offer a discounted rate for families and guests of students on orientation days.
