Non-degree Students or Senior Citizens
- If you are taking undergraduate classes at NMSU, but are not seeking a degree, you are not required to complete Aggie Welcome & Orientation.
Readmitted Students
- If you were previously a degree-seeking student at NMSU and are returning to complete your undergraduate degree, you are not required to complete Aggie Welcome & Orientation. However, if it has been a long time since you were at NMSU, and would like a refresher, you can review NMSU Information at orientation.nmsu.edu.
Second Degree-seeking
- If you have already received a Bachelor’s degree from any college or university, you are not required to complete Aggie Welcome & Orientation. However, if this is your first time at NMSU and you would like more information, you can learn more at orientation.nmsu.edu.
All students are encouraged to check the Registration Schedule to see when they can initially register for classes for a given semester: records.nmsu.edu/students/registration-schedule-by-classification.html. Please remember all active holds must be taken care of before you can register for classes. Students attending Aggie Welcome & Orientation (AWO) will have their Advising and Orientation holds removed as a part of AWO.
